Our Staff
At Care Corner Daycare Center in Mankato, our dedicated and passionate team is committed to nurturing and educating your child in a warm, welcoming environment. Led by Owner, Kaela Anderson, along with Assistant Director, Sara Dehn, our staff brings a wealth of experience and specialized training in early childhood education. From infant care to preschool readiness, each lead teacher and assistant teacher is focused on fostering growth, creativity, and social-emotional development. We take pride in building close relationships with families and supporting every child’s unique journey through their early years.

I am proud to be the new owner of Care Corner. I’m truly excited to continue building a warm, supportive space for children and families. My goal is to provide high-quality care in an environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential. I look forward to serving and growing with our families.
Sara Dehn
Assistant Director
I have been part of the Care Corner family since October 2012. I began my journey as the Lead Teacher in the Younger Toddlers classroom and later moved next door to Older Toddlers—one of my favorite age groups because of how much growth and learning happens during this stage. I was recently promoted to Assistant Director, and I’ve truly enjoyed taking on new responsibilities and having the opportunity to connect with all of our Care Corner families

I began my childcare career with Care Corner in 2022. I graduated from Rasmussen College in 2015 with a degree in Practical Nursing and continue to work as an LPN at a local clinic. I enjoy bringing my healthcare background into the classroom to help support children’s well-being. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, creating projects with my Cricut, and enjoying the outdoors.

I am the Lead Teacher in Preschool 3! I graduated from SCC with a degree in Early Childhood Education in May 2021 and have been teaching at Care Corner for 10 years. I love creating a fun, engaging learning environment where children can grow and explore. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, and doing creative activities.

Hello everyone! I have been working at Care Corner for 11 years! Throughout my time here, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a lead teacher and building meaningful relationships with the children and families in our care. My favorite part of my job is getting to know each child’s unique personality. I especially enjoy reading stories and getting creative with art projects. Outside of work, I love to read, paint, ride four-wheelers and dirt bikes, and spend quality time with my family.

I am one of the Lead Infant Teachers at Care Corner. I enjoy watching anime, reading manga, and playing video games. I am also a proud mom of two boys. I was born and raised in Texas and moved to Mankato in November 2020.

Lead Teacher
I am the Lead Teacher in the Pre-1 classroom and have worked in childcare for four years. I am currently in my final year of college and will graduate with my degree in Early Childhood Education in fall 2026. I enjoy creating a supportive and engaging environment for young learners. When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my significant other and our three cats. Some of my favorite activities include reading, fishing, gardening, enjoying the outdoors, and watching military movies.
Assistant Teachers and Aides
We have multiple dedicated Assistant Teachers and Aides who work alongside our Teachers to support a nurturing and structured learning environment. Together, they help create a center that feels like a safe and welcoming home away from home for children.
