Sara Dehn
Assistant Director / Lead Teacher
I have been working at Care Corner since October of 2012. I started as the lead teacher in Younger Toddlers and now I moved next door to Older Toddlers. Toddlers are one of my favorite age groups, they learn so much during that time. I have been recently promoted to Assistant director and it has been so great learning new responsibilities and getting to interact with all our Care Corner families!
Karissa Stangler
Lead Teacher
I began my career in childcare with Care Corner in 2022. I graduated Rasmussen College in 2015 with a degree in Practical Nursing and continue to work as an LPN at one of the local clinics. In my spare time I enjoy being with family, making things with my cricut, and spending time outdoors.
Nicole Dougherty

I have been a teacher at Care Corner since January 2013. I graduated from SCC for Early Childhood Development and studied in Social and Emotional Development. I currently work in the Preschool 3 room. Working with children is truly a passion of mine, and when I am not teaching I am often reading or spending time with family.
Danielle Dougherty
Lead Teacher
I have worked at Care Corner since 2013. My twin sister and I co-teach in the Preschool 3 room. I graduated from SCC
for Early Childhood Development and studied in Social and Emotional Development. I love teaching kids and getting them kindergarten ready, and when I am not working I often enjoy taking care of house plants, because I love to watch them grow, just like kids.
Shannon Berg
Lead Teacher
I have worked in child care for 4 years at Care Corner. I graduated from Rasmussen in 2008 for Medical Assisting and again in March 2022 for Early Childhood Education. I love spending time with my son and 3 cats when I am not teaching.
Aleesa Diel
Lead Teacher
I have worked at Care Corner for 9 years. I originally attended SCC for Medical Assisting. During that time, I was working at Care Corner and discovered my love for working with children. I love creating art with the kids, taking them outside, and reading books to them. Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my son and husband. Our favorite activities are riding our dirt bikes, four wheelers, and RZR when the weather is nice!
Margaret Cofield
Lead Teacher
I am the lead teacher in the Young Toddler Room. I graduated from SCC with a degree in Early Childhood Education in May 2021, but have been teaching at Care Corner for 7 years! My favorite thing about working with toddlers is watching their transition from infancy and discovering new things about "big kid" life everyday! When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, or doing something creative.
Emily Weldon
Lead Teacher
I am the lead teacher of the infant room at Care Corner. I am 20 years old, from LeCenter, MN, and have been working at Care Corner for almost 2 years! I am currently attending SCTC for Early Childhood Education, and am in my last semester. When I am not teaching or doing homework, I enjoy spending my time outdoors, shopping, trying new restaurants, or traveling.
Cassie Carlson

I started at care corner in January, but I’ve been working in childcare for seven years. Currently, I am a junior at Mankato State in the elementary education program!
